Problem solving technique for railway system control - having plan and solution generation using elemental knowledge selected or modified in light of harmonising knowledge

The problem solving technique involves using stored plan generation guidelines. Harmonising knowledge is established including rules and knowledge used to select and modify the elemental knowledge. The harmonising knowledge is stored and the elemental knowledge is selected or modified depending on the harmonising knowledge. Plan generation and problem solving are carried out using the selected or modified elemental knowledge. Pref. the elemental knowledge is changed by modifying its content, erasing parts of the content or removing special elemental knowledge from a selected object. USE/ADVANTAGE - Provides solutions or plans for controlled system . Allows rapid response to changes due to operating conditions or additional input data.
