The electro-acupuncture apparatus is applied in the field of weight therapy. The electrical inputs (22) and output (26) terminals of the equipment (20) are converted to the patient's input (24) and output (28) electrodes respectively. Oscillatory signals from the patient entering the apparatus (20) are frequency selected (34) and during an adjustable series of an (30) mutually similar treatment cycles of adjustable signal/space ratio (32) appear at the output terminal (26). From there, the signals are fed back to the patient via the electrode (28) and are also supplied to an electrode (36) immersed in an alcohol/water solution (40) for subsequent treatment use. ADVANTAGE - Enables acupuncture techniques to be applied to problems of weight correction without resort to medication to special diets.
