The invention relates to a holding and spacing system for structural parts in the form of strands, especially pipes or hoses for carrying media, to arrangement on a mounting surface, such as a base, wall, ceiling or housing surface, having flat holding elements which are to be laid in a modular manner and have structural part holders which are arranged in groups and project from the base plane of the holding element, and between which the structural parts which are in the form of strands can be fixed and can be spaced from adjacent structural parts. The novel holding and spacing system is characterised in that, - the structural part holders (11) in each case have an elongated, extended basic shape, - in each case four structural part holders (11) are arranged spaced apart from one another in a rotationally symmetrical manner about a centre point (M), as a holder groove, their longitudinal axes (L, L') intersecting at the centre point (M), and - their sides (13) facing the centre point (M) in each case have two holding surfaces (13'), which project from the base plane (12) of the holding element (10), are arranged symmetrically with respect to the associated longitudinal axis (L, L'), are at an angle of 30 DEG - 45 DEG to the longitudinal axis (L, L') and are constructed with or are provided with restraining means for an inserted structural part (20, 20') in the form of a strand.
