An aluminosilicate gel containing a structuring agent ST and having a composition suitable for crystallising to a zeolite of the structural group faujasite is prepared and the said gel is then subjected to a crystallisation in order to form a precursor of the zeolite consisting of the said zeolite containing the structuring agent ST in its cavities and channels and the zeolite is produced by calcination of the said precursor. The structuring agent ST consists of at least one compound chosen from the polyoxaalkyl and/or polyoxaarylamines of general formula: H(3-y)N(CmH2m-1X-O)n-Ry (I in which X denotes a hydrogen atom, an -OH radical or an alkyl or aryl group, which can be different from one unit to the next, R represents a hydrogen atom or a C1 to C3 alkyl radical and which can be different from one chain to the next, m is equal to 2 or 3 and can be different from one unit to the next, n is a number ranging from 1 to 4 and y is a number ranging from 1 to 3.
