摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain an industrial fungicidal and algicidal agent effective at a low concentration compared with conventional agent, by using 2-bromo-2- nitropropane-1,3-diol in combination with bis(tribromomethyl)sulfone. CONSTITUTION:The objective industrial fungicidal and algicidal agent contains 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol and bis(tribromomethyl)sulfone at a weight ratio of 95:5-5:95, preferably 8:2-2:8 as active components. The agent can be prepared by adding 1-70pts.wt. of water to 100pts.wt. of a composition composed of 0.1-30pts.wt. of 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol, 0.1-30pts.wt. of bis(tribromomethyl)sulfone and 35-90pts.wt. of a hydrophilic organic solvent such as dimethylformamide, acetate, etc.
