JOINT STRUCTURE OF STEEL PIPE CONCRETE COLUMN AND H-SHAPED STEEL FRAME BEAM

PURPOSE: To improve the filling workability of concrete, by welding a gusset plate on a cylindrical member contained in a column to protrude from the column and welding the protruded part at the skin plate of the column and connecting the flange of a beam to the plate. ;CONSTITUTION: A gasset plate 2 to connect a H-shaped steel frame beam 5 is welded on a cylindrical ring 1 to unify with it. A slit 4 having the same size with the gasset plate 2 is formed in advance at the position where the flange of the H-shaped steel frame beam 5 is connected to the skin plate 3' constituting a steel pipe concrete column. And a unified member of the cylindrical ring 1 and the gasset plate 2 is arranged at the periphery and four skin plates 3' are arranged to shape a box-form and then the gasset plate 2 and the skin plate 3' are welded at the slit 4 to assemble a steel plate column.
