X-RAY CONTRAST AGENT AND X-RAY CONTRAST COMPOSITION

摘要

PURPOSE: To provide an X-ray contrast medium composition containing an iodoaniline derivative used in diagnostic radiology of the gastrointestinal tract. ;CONSTITUTION: An X-ray contrast medium composition for oral or rectal administration for the gastrointestinal visualization containing compounds of formula [Z is H, halo, l-20C alkyl, cycloalkyo, lower alkoxy, CN (alkyl and cycloalkyl are each optionally substituted halogen or halo lower alkyl)] or their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, e.g. N-acetyl-N-2'-octyl-4-iodoaniline is obtained. A dose of the contrast agent is preferably in a range of 0.5 to 6.0 g of iodo per kg of body weight for the general X-ray visualization and 40 to 80 mg of iodo for the CT scan.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
