CIRCULAR BLADE SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR CIRCULAR BLADE ROTATION TYPE CUTTER

PURPOSE: To achieve a lower cost of a lock screw by a method wherein a rotary member is mounted rotatably integrally near a center hole of a circular blade and welded with a lock member under pressure to grasp the circular, blade between the lock member and a blade mounting section. ;CONSTITUTION: A lock member 14 is inserted into a center hole 9 of a circular blade 8 on a blade mounting part 3 of a handle 1 to support the circular blade 8 rotatably on the blade mounting part 3. A rotary member 11 is mounted rotatably integral near the center hole 9 of the circular blade and welded with the lock member 14 under pressure to grasp the circular blade 8 between the lock member 14 and the blade mounting part 3. Even if the lock member 14 is tightened, the lock member 14 contacts the rotary member 11, by no means the circular blade 8 so that the circular blade 8 does not rub the lock member 14 though rotating to keep the lock member from wearing. Thus. there is no need for thermal treatment to increase the hardness of the lock member 14 thereby achieving a lower cost of the lock member 14.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
