PURPOSE: To provide a foreign matter accumulation device of an office apparatus which can simplify opening and closing structure of a hopper accumulating a foreighn matter dropping from an end part of a paper sheet conveying path. ;CONSTITUTION: A paper feed guide passage joined to an upstream side of a paper sheet conveying path 2 is provided, a hopper 21 possessing a bottom plate 24 inclining downward from the upper part and a wall surface 25 rising from the vicinity of the lower fringe of the bottom plate 24 is provided on the lower part of a joint between the paper sheet guide passage and paper sheet conveying passage 2, an opening part 26 is formed on the lower part of the wall surface 25 and a sheet possessing a lid part 27 wherein it is formed of transparent synthetic resin having elasticity, confronted at least with the opening part 26 and the upper fringe abuts against the fringe of the rear of the opening part 26 is provided on the bottom plate 24.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
