DRAIN BASIN STRUCTURE AND DRAIN BASIN USING THE STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: To provide a parallel confluent type drain basin structure which is simple in structure and easy to handle and usable for a general purpose by a method wherein a plurality of connection ports are formed in parallel in an adjacent state on one side of a basin body and a connection port owning a plane central line jointly with the connection ports is formed on the other side. ;CONSTITUTION: A flat basin body 2 in an oval shape in cross section is formed and circular connection ports 3 and 4 to which drain pipes are connected in parallel are formed horizontally in an adjoined state in a position situated one side of the basin body 2, for example, upper stream of a flow. A connection port 5 in an oval shape owning a plane central line jointly with the connection ports 3 and 4 is integrally formed on the other side of the basin body 2, for example, in a position situated downstream of a flow. An inspection port 6 opened to above is formed in the portion, approximately at a central part between the connection ports 3 and 4, of the upper surface of the basin body 2. This constitution performs excavation such that an excavation width, with which a drain basin is installed, is kept at in one and the same value and performs the smooth flow of drain, flowing in a drain basin structure 1, to a position situated downstream of a flow without the occurrence of a reverse flow and jumping up.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
