PURPOSE: To provide a branch construction of a piping which enables the carrying out of a branching work in a fool-proof manner easily and safely without relying on any skilled worker by dispensing with thread cutting and welding on sites. ;CONSTITUTION: One end side of a cylinder shaft part 5 of a branch pipe 3 which has a cylinder shaft part 5 with a male thread part 4 formed on the outer circumference thereof and a jut piece 6 arranged projecting outward diametrically from one end thereof 5 is inserted into holes 2 different in diameter formed on a pipe wall of another piping 1 and the jut piece 6 is engaged with rim parts of the holes 2 different in diameter. A packing material 8 and a washer 9 are fitted onto the cylinder shaft part 5 extended from the holes 2 different in diameter to seal between the cylinder shaft part 5 and the holes 2 different in diameter.
