STYLUS ADJUSTMENT TOOL, STYLUS ADJUSTING METHOD AND STYLUS FITTING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To facilitate the adjustment of an individual probe stylus at a correct position by a method wherein a twisting tool is used so as to be fitted only when it is placed in the thickest portion of a probe stylus. ;CONSTITUTION: A twisting tool is disposed so that a non-tapered part of a probe stylus 202 is fitted between upper two cylinders 701, 702 and a lower cylinder 703. Namely, a handle 704 of the twisting tool is perpendicular to the probe pin 202, and upper and lower cylinder clearances are equal to a vertical height 903 of the non-tapered part of the probe stylus 202. The tool is disposed in a point nearer to a fitting point on a probe card plate 201 of the probe stylus 202. Thereby, the twist tool is excellently fitted round the probe stylus 202. Even when this twist tool is placed in a fine tapered part of the probe stylus 202, it is not fittable. Accordingly, a technical expert is easy to twist the probe stylus 202 at a correct position apart from the material tapered part of the probe stylus 202, so that uniformization in works can be attained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
