PURPOSE: To cultivate various species of terrestrial plants on the water by planting the terrestrial plants cultivated on a land facility in a specific state with a flowerpot on the water and then vegetating the plants on the water. ;CONSTITUTION: Terrestrial plants 7 cultivated on a land facility are planted in a flowerpot 17 floating on the water surface so that the upper parts 25 of the roots of the terrestrial plants may be located in a space 24 between the water surface 23 and a planting floor 18. The flowerpot is made from a low- specific gravity material such as expanded polystyrene and the planting floor 18 is constructed by perforating many planting through-holes 21 in a lightweight resin plate and supporting rods 19 are attached thereto.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
