PURPOSE: To prepare the specimen through which each of the maturing stages of an organism can be observed and which is capable of being permanently preserved. ;CONSTITUTION: This preparation comprises: transferring an organismic material being in each of the developmental stages from the initial stage to the final stage of an organism into a fixing fluid to subject the material to fixation, dyeing and dehydration; thereafter, fixing these materials within a specimen bottle in such a state that these materials are arranged on a slide glass sheet so as to maintain specified intervals among them; immersing the materials in a transparent agent; and then, sealing the bottle to prepare the objective specimen. Also, alternatively, the preparation comprises: immersing the materials in a Bouin's fluid consisting of an aq. picric acid solution, formalin and acetic acid to fix the materials; dyeing the materials so as to allow a dyestuff to penetrate into the inside of each of the materials; thereafter, re-immersing the resulting materials in absolute alcohol to dehydrate the materials; then, arranging the materials on a slide glass sheet in a specimen bottle at specified intervals; fixing the materials by adding balsam to them; thereafter, immersing the resulting materials in a transparent agent; and then, sealing the specimen bottle to prepare the objective specimen.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
