PURPOSE: To enhance the general purpose properties, a coupling strength and airtightness by providing a gusset opened in the shape of a flare toward a flange surface and provided at its tip with a bent-back part, a flange having a cut extended from a flange surface with which the gusset is surrounded, and a pipe nipped in the gusset and having a spread end part. ;CONSTITUTION: In a flange coupling 1, a gusset 4 opened in the shape of a flare toward a flange surface 2 and a tip folded inwardly to form a bent-back part 3 is formed at a central part. Further, a flange 6 having a cut 5 formed in an annular shape and extending from a flange surface 2 with which the gusset 4 is surrounded is formed. Moreover, a pipe 8 having a spread end part 7 is nipped internally of the gusset 4. The parts are integrally caulked for coupling. This constitution results the enhancement of the general purpose properties of the flange coupling 1 and ensurance of excellent coupling strength, airtightness, workability, and mass productivity thereof.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
