SEALING DEVICE BETWEEN BLADE STAGE AND ROTATING DRUM PARTICULARLY FOR PREVENTING LEAKAGE IN PERIPHERY OF FLOW STRAIGHTENER BLADE STAGE

PURPOSE: To secure sealing of a rotation machine between a rotor and a stator by disposing specific rings at ends of blade stages, and providing means for pushing seals out of circular slots of the rings to transverse faces. CONSTITUTION: Plates 16 which essentially constitute rings extend against reinforcements 10 up to transverse faces 14. Fixed blades 1 are connected to external faces of the plates 16, and flexible collars 15 are disposed integrally on internal faces of the plates 16. Further, circular slots 17, which open towards the transverse faces 14, are formed with the plates 16. Each of the slots 17 receives a seal holder 18, which contains a circular joint 19. Plate springs 20 are mounted in circular slots 17 between each of bottoms of the seal holder 18. On the other hand, the seal holder 18 is prevented by worm screws 27 or the like from rotating within the circular slots 17.
