ROOF PANEL JOINT STRUCTURE AND ROOF PANEL JOINING CONSTRUCTION METHOD

PURPOSE: To display heat insulating and water proofing effect between joint end faces by compressing a joint filler, disposed between both panels, vertically by protruding pieces provided at both panels so as to let the joint filler bulge to the side. ;CONSTITUTION: In relation to one roof panel 1 provided with a first piece 15 at its joint end face lower part, the other roof panel 2 provided with a second protruding piece 16 at its joint end face upper part is disposed from above in such a way that both joint end faces face each other. In this case, a joint filler 3 of the approximately same width as both protruding pieces 15, 16 is interposed between both panels 1, 2, and clearances 1, l are secured between both panels 1, 2. The height of the joint filler 3 is set higher than the height (h) between the upper and lower faces of both protruding pieces 15, 16. The joint filler 3 is thereby compressed vertically by both protruding parts 15, 16 so as to bulge to the side. A space between the joint end faces is sealed by the bulged joint filler 3 to display heat insulating and water proofing effect.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
