PURPOSE: To obtain the oscillator of a high frequency band of a wide band, and also, a high performance, and moreover, to lower the power consumption of a frequency synthesizer by varying an oscillation frequency of a push-push oscillator in accordance with an output frequency of the frequency synthesizer. ;CONSTITUTION: With respect to a high frequency ground point of a split ring resonator 6 resonated to a frequency f0 of a frequency synthesizer 7, f0 is supplied to parallel connecting lines 9 whose left and right are equal, and a push- push oscillator 3 is injected and synchronized with the oscillation frequency f0 through the resonator 6. In this case, a variable capacity 8 is connected to an opening end of the resonator 6, a control voltage of the oscillator 3 is allowed to correspond to switching of a frequency of a synthesizer by a D/A converter 10 and the oscillation frequency of the oscillator 3 is also varied simultaneously, and an injection synchronizing multiplying oscillation of a wide band is executed. In such a way, the oscillator which maintains a high performance, and has a high frequency band of a wide band can be obtained. Also, since the synthesizer is operated by a fundamental frequency f0, the power consumption can be lowered in a high frequency band.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
