Process for physical/chemical modification of bitumen, for the preparation of binders for road and airport pavements and derived product

Process for the preparation of modified bitumens for use as high performance binders in road and airport pavements, in hydraulic work and in waterproofing operations in general. The process comprises the dispersion in the bitumen of limited percentages of an EDPM polymer (terpolymer), alone or mixed with other polymers, and the transformation of the mixture obtained into a homogeneous and stable mass, by a subsequent process of controlled oxidation.
