DEVICE FOR CREATING A TRIBOCHEMICAL REGIME IN A LUBRICATION SYSTEM FOR A MECHANICAL DEVICE

A device for creating a tribochemical regime in a lubrication system for a mechanical device comprises a housing (1), a cover (2) with openings (3 and 4) through which oil can flow in and out as appropriate, a non-return valve (5), a by-pass valve (6), a full-flow filtration element (7), and an alkali reagent and iodine which are placed in succession in the oil flow. The alkali reagent is accommodated on metal rods (8) arranged around the circumference of the filtration element (7), while the iodine is contained in that element's internal area (9). The rods are made of aluminium and equal in height to the filtration element (7). A cloth or gauze cover (10) is placed over the filtration element (7) and rods (8).
