1. Device for determining and/or measuring or controlling the nature, especially of chemical conditions, in liquid, especially aqueous, media using at least one indicator. 2. Urinary incontinence entails an extremely high risk of infection. 2.1 The indicator strips used hitherto require incubation of the test strips in urine for a specific period of time and subsequent evaluation. As a result, this measurement method is not carried out sufficiently frequently or is not carried out at all. It is the object of the invention to provide a device which is distinguished by offering exact measurements coupled with extremely simple handling. 2.2 This object is achieved in that the wall of the device has at least one passage permitting the liquid medium to enter the interior of the device for a predetermined period of time to be defined, in that there is a first device which induces the liquid medium to execute a movement into the interior of the device and a second device which stops the inflow of liquid into the interior of the device. 2.3 The device can be employed for early recognition of infections due to urinary incontinence.
