Ventilators in maintenance pits under tracks - are used for ventilation of working areas in train maintenance shed

The device is for use in a shed having one or more tracks for train units, and a maintenance pit under the track. The track is carried on supports, which extend into the pit. There is a working area on both sides of, and under a train unit. A number of ventilator appliances (10) is evenly distributed over the length of the working pit (3). Each appliance has a branch unit (13) with at least two branches, and an air passage (30,40) on one branch. The air passages are located inside and outside the pit, pref. in a ratio 1: 1. The branch units are thermally isolated from the pit wall.
