The pole threads comprise a monofil of material e.g. polypropylene and the upright ends of the pole threads are melted to form mushroom shapes by contactless radiation heat. The hook part has pole burls bound into a basic weave (10), which comprise wire-shaped threads (11) of thermoplastic. The pole threads (11) have a thickness of ca 0.18 mm. The mushroom heads (12) pref. has a largest dia. of ca. 0.4 mm and a head height of ca. 0.3 mm. They have an arched upper side (13) and a ca. radially running underside (14) to the longitudinal axis of the pole thread (11). The pole threads (11) are provided in a density of ca. 66 threads per cm2 of basic surface. USE/ADVANTAGE - Surface rip closure with mushroom head type hooks may be produced economically and industrially in large amts.
