The sediment removing liq. jet (49) is directed onto the template support (23) at an impingement pressure sufficient for the mechanical sediment removal. The sediment is removed by a relative movement between the liq. jet and the template support. Pref. the template support is fixed, and the liq. jet is moved w.r.t. it. If a rotary screen printing forme is used, the template support is rotated, while the liq. jet is linearly moved parallel the template support longitudinal axis. USE/ADVANTAGE - Cleaning of rotary printing formes, using water soluble photofilms, without use of dangerous solvents.
