The support socket is a prefab, model support plate(s), whose outside (2) precisely fits an oppositely profiled side (3) of the assembly socket (4). Inside the plate are members holding a magnetisable disc (6). The disc is fitted opposite to the permanent magnet (7) set in the assembly socket. The support plate pref. has on the inside a cylindrical depression for the magnetisable disc, whose dia. (d) is only slightly larger than that of the disc. ADVANTAGE - No penetration of gypsum abraded parts, and facilitates the use of cheap iron discs.
