A moisture-hardening one-component polyurethane binder comprises prepolymers with a 6-15 wt. % NCO content consisting of (a) a mixt. comprising (i) 60-90 wt. % one or more difunctional polyetherpolyol and (ii) 40-10 wt. % one or more trifunctional polyetherpolyol; and (b) a mixt. comprising (i) 30-50 wt. % of 2,4'diphenylmethandiisocyanate (DPMDI) isomers and (ii) 70-50 wt. % of 4,4'-DPMDI isomers and/or higher functional DPMDI homologues. ADVANTAGE - A solvent and catalyst-free, storage-stable binder for particles of all types is provided which shows high reactivity with water or steam. It can also be used as an adhesive or lacquer material or as a component of a casting material.
