An auxiliary data signal (B) is generated at sample points by sampling the binary signal (A). A control signal (M) is generated if the binary (A) and auxiliary (B) signals do not tally. The control signal (M) is switched to inactive at the sample points. A level hold signal (WZ) of predetermined hold period (PH) is generated at the sample points from the control signal (M). A data signal (C) is generated which has the same level as the auxiliary signal (B) outside the hold period (PH). During the hold period (PH) it maintains this level. USE/ADVANTAGE - For use in bus systems. Removes erroneous signal states.
