The wristwatch consists of housing (6, 7) with display window, watch-works (11) and strap (4), with a recess in housing (6) of dimensions and shape to accommodate a rolled-up, ready-to-use, condom (13). The cavity in housing (6) is torus-shaped, of 22 to 28 mm diameter, and 2.5 to 4.5 mm in depth. The torus closure disc is of thickness 0.5 to 1 mm. The watch works (11) are positioned centrally in the housing (7) and has maximum diameter 28 to 30 mm, fitting into the central area of the enclosed condom. An alternative form uses a 'C' shaped recess, with a sinusoidal section in which the condom is bent into a 'C' shape. USE/ADVANTAGE - Barrier contraceptive is to hand and ready for use at all times, maximising likelihood of use and consequently minimising chance of catching Aids through unprotected sex.
