A device for selectively supplying plastics moulding tools with a temp. control fluid or a pressurised gas for purging the liquid comprises: (i) a rectangular valve block with two parallel broad sides and four narrow sides; (ii) two cam-operated disc valves in the block for fluid and gas flow control; (iii) a first prismatic distribution rail screwed to one narrow side of the block; (iv) a second prismatic distribution rail screwed to a parallel narrow side of the block; (v) a fluid inlet channel for the second disc valve; (vi) a gas inlet channel for the first disc valve; (vii) gas and fluid channels leading to a distribution channel in the first distribution rail via non-return valves; (viii) connections in the distribution channel of the first rail leading to a tool(s); (ix) a distribution channel in the second distribution rail with connections for return lines from the tools; and (x) a common outlet from the distribution channel. USE/ADVANTAGE - Supplying plastics moulding tools, e.g. injection, blow moulding, with temp. control fluid or a pressurised gas for purging the fluid. Permits rapid interchange and heating/cooling of tools without the problem of corrosion inducing fluid remaining in the tool passages.
