Equipment for the continuous prodn. of foam sheeting, and for rigid foam sheets in particular, has a continuous conveyor belt with a cross-beam over the feed end carrying a transversely reciprocating coating head which applies foaming mix; this latter has a mixing head with outlet connected to a pouring tube orientated in the feed direction of the belt. A number of such pouring tubes are mounted on a plate which can be taken off the coater; the outlet leads to this plate which has a hole for each pouring tube and can be set to connect the tube in succession to the outlet. ADVANTAGE - The layout elimates any need to interrupt production because of dirty or clogged feed tube.
