Water-soluble paint powder for making dispersion paint contains up to 30% water-soluble EVA copolymer (I), 50-90% 'Rugen' chalk slurry (II), which contains at least 97.5% CaCO3 and has up to 96.5% particles finer than 10 microns, and opt. silicate-carbonate filler, cellulose (III), Ti02, dispersant (IV) and antifoam (V). ADVANTAGE - The powder can be packed and dispatched in paper bags or sacks, which are environmentally friendly, rather than plastics or metal pots, and made up by the end user to a brushable or sprayable paint. It also saves the cost of transporting large quantities of water. In an example a wipe-proof dispersion paint consisted of 80 pts. (I) powder, 40 pts. Ti02, 10 pts. (III), 4 pts. (IV), 2 pts. (V) and 864 pts. (II).
