The vehicle rear window wiper drive includes a wiper motor (7) which is fixed to the left-hand door (G), and has two oscillating drive-shafts. One (5), penetrating the left-hand door, operates a wiper arm and blade in the usual way, while the other (8), running horizontally through a bearing (9) fixed near the vertical edge of the door, ends beyond the edge in a wedge-shaped driving block (11), which, at rest, lies with the apex facing rearwards. On the right-hand door (D), a driven block, shaped as an open V to match the driving wedge, is fixed to the end of a shaft (12) supported, in line with the left-hand shaft, by a bearing (13) and a bevel gearbox (14), driving the right-hand wiper arm.
