A tool for cleaning and/or collecting rubbish, particularly dog droppings, consists of a tube (1) housing a retractable shaft (2) with a brush (3) on one end. The other end of the shaft has a hand strap (5) passing through a hole (6) in the tube end. There is a ring (7) on the end of the strap which, when not in use, is held by a hook (8) on the tube side. The tool is available with slotted tube side for brush handle operation like a retractable ballpoint pen, and carrying strap. It is easily cleaned with water. USE/ADVANTAGES - Practical tool, light, low cost and easy to use.
