The assembly (1) consists of a piece (2) provided with a cylindrical hole (3) and a tube (5) containing a rigid cylindrical end section which push fits inside the hole. This tube (5) has an annular shoulder (8) so that a fixing flange (9) can push this annular shoulder towards the piece to hold it in position and the tube is sealed in the hole by an annular joint seal (12). The end of the tube wall contains a swelling obtained by deformation which engages with a complementary slot in the hole (3). Use/Advantage - A formed assembly of a piece to which a tube is fitted being part of a air conditioning circuit in motor vehicles where the tube is indexed in rotation to facilitate the assembly of the pipework.
