The unit is made up of a strap (110) provided with guide grooves (111) on opposite faces and at least a contact surface (112) against which bears an edge or flank of each blade (L) which is to be fixed. The strap is set in a recess (140) in the periphery of the disc (F) so that the grooves (111) of the strap (110) engage with the sided of this recess. A screw (120) bolts the strap onto the disc so that its axis (X-X') is parallel to the median plane of the disc. Wedging pieces (130) are fixed to opposite sides of the disc adjacent to the strap (110) so that when the blade (L) is radially inserted, its angled faces (La) wedge between the face (112) of the strap (110) and that (132) of the wedging piece (130). Use/Advantage - For fitting of blades to the drive discs of a cultivator where the method of fitting the blades allows for a quick replacement of the blades when they are worn.
