Waffle oven with assisted manoeuvring of waffle moulds - by supporting in frames which lift high enough for moulds to be rotated through 180 deg.

A waffle oven, including one or more waffles moulds (10) has heating elements (103) associated with each mould. Each mould is supported in a frame, by cylindrical projections which sit in cradles (114) at the end of arms (112) either side of it. The frame can move about an axis (X) parallel to the moulds projection and its axis of rotation. The arms move from a horizontal position to an inclined position (as shown in dotted lines), high enough for the waffle mould to be rotated freely and turned over. Movement of the frame for turning the moulds is assisted by a spring which tends to lift the arms of the frame and hence the mould. The spring is stretched between a pivot on the main chassis (100) and a pin inside the cylindrical tube (111). The attachment point can be adjusted if necessary. A stop (127) on the main chassis movement prevents the frame from moving too far, e.g. more than 55 deg.. The cradle (114) on one side has a smooth interior face, while the one on the other side is toric. Each one is extended on one side (114.2) to prevent the frame falling out when lifted.
