PURPOSE: To provide a reflector face accuracy evaluation apparatus in which the mirror face accuracy of a reflector can be evaluated without making an electric performance test including whether the mirror face shape error of the reflector is periodic or not. ;CONSTITUTION: A reflector 105 is photographed respectively by still cameras 303 in photographing points P1, P2, individual photographs which have been taken are read out by an image scanner 305 so as to obtain pieces of digital image data, pieces of image data on individual targets 301 in the individual photographs are extracted by an image processing operation by means of an image processor 307, and their three dimensional coordinates are detected by a target position analytical unit 309. Then, a function f (x, y) which indicates the mirror face shape of the reflector face 105 is calculated on the basis of the interval between the individual targets 301, a mirror face error function ΔZ (x, y) which has subtracted a function F (x, y) indicating the ideal mirror-face shape of the reflector 105 is calculated by a mirror face error cycle detection unit 313, the mirror face error function is fast Fourier transformed, and the mirror face error frequency spectrum F (W1, W2) of the mirrorface error function ΔZ (x, y) is found.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
