PURPOSE:To reduce the delay time in transmission without lowering the reliability in case of transmission information of several points by using a transmission format for an information word comprising a 16-bit synchronizing word, an 8-point data (16-bit) by a 2C1 constant mark code and a 16-bit CRC code part. CONSTITUTION:The information fetched cyclicly via an interface 15 from an external equipment is given to an information processing unit 1 and outputted to a converter 2 as a transmission format of an information word shown in figure 2(b) and a period word shown in figure 2(a). The converter 2 converts the information inputted as a parallel signal into the information of a serial signal, a transmission/reception equipment 3 modulates the information of serial signal and sends the result to an opposite equipment via a transmission line 10. When the synchronizing word and the information word are received via a transmission line 10 from the opposite equipment, the transmission/reception equipment 3 demodulates the information and inputs the result to the converter 2. The converter 2 converts the information of serial signal into the information of parallel signal, the information processing unit 1 discriminates a synchronizing pattern, a data and a CRC, detects them and only the normal data is outputted to an external equipment via an interface 15.
