METHOD OF HAULING CONVEYOR UNIT FROM MAIN TRACK TO SHUNTING TRACK IN FLOOR CHAIN HAULAGE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To haul a plurality of conveyor unit to a shunting track having a given length by driving a single floor chain using a single driving device for attaining a relatively easy structure without requiring a complicated connection cutting-off mechanism. ;CONSTITUTION: During the haulage of a conveyor unit 3, a floor chain 6 of a shunting track 2 and a catch member disposed on the conveyor unit 3 for catching a pin for conveyance are moved over a pitch distance PZ. When a subsequent conveyor unit 3 further follows on a main track 1 continuously, the floor chain 6 of a shunting track 2 is moved by an intermediate distance, and follows on the main track 1 without being hauled from the shunting track.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
