PURPOSE: To adjust a shorter suction conveyor to different widths of a web of material and a producing assembly by guiding blanks, which end in front of a truck of a pack or above it, and are cut off from the web of material and a full width of the web together with a transverse thin and long suction conveyor. ;CONSTITUTION: A thin web of wrapping material is transported, cuts off blanks 13 from the web, and is supplied to a track 15 lateraly elongated to wrap the blanks 13 to a pack. Shorter suction conveyors 34 to 37 are disposed between transverse suction conveyors 32, 33 in the region above the track 15. The web and the blanks 13 are guided to a lower side of the track 15 retaining transversely at the transverse suction conveyors 32, 33, and arrive at the last position.
