DISPLAY WINDOW LAYOUT SYSTEM AUTOMATICALLY ADAPTED TO CHANGE OF DISPLAY RESOLUTION, FONT SIZE AND LANGUAGE

摘要

PURPOSE: To control the GUI automatically varying according to varied environment by allowing a software presentation system to automatically adjust a window size and positioning according to the variation of window environment. ;CONSTITUTION: A canvas setting window 50 is generated by a procedure automatically re-sizing a slave window so as to be adapted to a changed font size. Each canvas window type includes a layout routine automatically processing the font size, the introduction of new language and the change of new display resolution. The slave window data structure includes a series of plural flags defining the state of the slave window. The layout routine of a master canvas window uses the plural flags, controls the presentation of the slave window which it includes and when the flags shows the update of the slave window, makes the layout routine of it run.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
