PURPOSE:To prevent water from finding its way into a vehicle compartment by continuously arranging an extended portion turning from a roof opening portion to a general surface of the vehicle roof on a peripheral edge of a frame attached to the roof opening and further arranging a groove portion between both seal members of the vehicle roof. CONSTITUTION:In case water for cleaning a vehicle or rain water seeps into a side of an opening 5 through between contact surfaces of a seal member 13 and a vehicle roof 1 due to direct hit of water for cleaning the vehicle or a negative pressure within a vehicle compartment, the seeped water is drawn into a groove portion 15 located between seal members 13 and 14 and discharged outside the vehicle through an inside of a pillar. As a result, the water is prevented form finding its way into the vehicle compartment through the opening 5. Furthermore, while the seal member 14 corresponding to a hollow seal lip 12 is arranged to straddle an extended portion 11 of a frame 7 and the vehicle roof 1, a bending rigidity of a peripheral portion of an opening of a roof panel 2 is enhanced by the formation of the groove portion 15. As a result, a reactional seal force of the hollow seal lip 12 against a canvas top 6 is stabilized and sealing property between the canvas top 6 and the hollow seal lip 12 can be also improved.
