PURPOSE: To sort and reuse reusable crushed-stone of track bed among the crushed- stone of track bed to be replaced when the track bed as defective one is replaced. ;CONSTITUTION: A receiver tank 3 including an upper hopper chamber 15a and a lower hopper chamber are respectively connected to a negative pressure generating circuit, and defective crushed-stone of track bed is sucked into the receiver tank 3. Reusable crushed-stone on the net of a vibrational screen 6 is introduced into upper and lower hopper chamber 11a, 12a and disused earth and sand below the net are introduced into a disused earth and sand tank 13. In such apparatus, the receiver tank and lower hopper chamber 12a open together an upper damper 11d of the upper hopper 11 under the negative pressure condition. After the reusable crushed-stone is introduced into the lower hopper chamber 12a, the upper damper 11d is closed to release the negative pressure condition of the lower hopper chamber, and lower damper 12d is opened to sort and convey the reusable crushed-stone.
