PURPOSE:To enable the continuous operation of surface treatment by the use of a barrel, by easily taking the materials to be treated in and out of a barrel merely by turning the barrel. CONSTITUTION:An opening 6A is provided on the prescribed part in the rotating drum part of a perforated vessel 1A having a large number of holes 3A, 5A which is turnably supported by a frame body. A sliding cover 7A having a flange 8A with locking holes 9A is attached to the above opening 6A. Then an unlocking mechanism 12A is provided between the perforated vessel 1A and a sliding cover 7A.
