摘要
PURPOSE: To obtain a new enzyme 8-oxodGTPase extracted and purified from cultured human cell and active to suppress the mutation and carcinogenesis of human cell. ;CONSTITUTION: This human-originated 8-oxodGTPase is a protein extracted and purified from cultured human cell, preferably a cell strain originated from cancer cell and contains the peptide composed at least of the amino acid sequences of the formula I, the formula II (Xaa is Asp or Trp), the formula III, the formula IV (1st Xaa is Ser or Asp; 11th Xaa is Pro or Gin; 12th Xaa is Ile, Leu or Ala; 14th Xaa is unknown) and the formula V. It is produced by a cDNA clone receptor cell transformed with a cDNA clone [e.g. plasmid p24T existing in E.coli SURE/p24T (FERM P-13676)] obtained by integrating a cDNA coding the enzyme into a vector. Cancer induced by the point mutation of a gene DNA can be suppressed by expressing the cDNA in the living body.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
