TRIANGLE PANEL WITH SMALL TRIANGULAR ASSEMBLIES, DOME WITH PANEL, AND DOME CONSTRUCTING METHOD

PURPOSE: To provide a triangular panel which has a satisfactory rigidity and to which a window, etc., to well suit a dome structure can easily be installed, by forming it from a triangle frame consisting of an outer frame member and an inner frame member and a membrane plate constituting a small triangular sheath. ;CONSTITUTION: A bolt hole 6a for coupling a triangle panel 1 is provided in an outer frame member 2a, and one of its surfaces is inclined at θ to the plumb, and the ends are put as mating with each other so that the side with inclination constitutes the periphery of the triangle. An inner frame member 2b to reinforce this panel 1 is furnished on the line formed by tying the triangle middle points to one another. A membrane plate 3 is installed on the oversurface of the frame 2 in such a form as alongside the small triangle and fixed with adhesive 7, and a metal plate 9 is attached to each corner of the back face so that the rigidity is enhanced. Because the side face of the frame 2 is inclined inward, a dome shape is obtained only by joining panels 1 with one another. When a triangular window is to be fitted in the panel 1, glass, etc., is fitted instead of plate 4, and likely influence upon the strength and/or stress transmission can be eliminated even without making reinforcement.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
