PURPOSE: To cut an object by the edge section of a saw-tooth-shaped blade having no swing by thicken the edge section of the saw-tooth-shaped blade of a saw-shaped blade more than the other sections. ;CONSTITUTION: In a saw-shaped blade 1, the thickness t1 of the edge section 2₁ of a saw-shaped blade 2 is made thicker than the thickness t2 of a portion except the edge section 2₁. For this reason, even when a cutter cuts in a matter to be cut, no change is made in the width of the swing of the cutter, the width of a cutting line is kept constant, and the saw shaped blade 1 is thereby made to pass smoothly through the matter to be cut, so that the blade is smoothly moved without being clogged. Since only the front and back sides of the edge section 2₁ are brought into contact with the cutting faces of the matter to be cut, frictional heat is less generated due to contact with the cutting faces, moreover, a space between the saw shaped blade 1 and the cutting line is widened in a cut area so as to be well ventilated, and the saw-shaped blade 1 is thereby sufficiently cooled, so that the production of strain in the saw- shaped blade 1 due to frictional heat is thereby dissolved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
