PURPOSE: To unnecessitate a calculation work, etc., executed by man-power and to improve the design efficiency by designating a start point and an end point at every kind of the piping on a plan view, obtaining work section length at every kind of the piping, integrating the work section length and a cross section of the sediment and obtaining the carried-out sediment quantity and the embedded sediment quantity. ;CONSTITUTION: At the time of calculating the carried-out sediment and the embedded-back sediment, a plant view and an earthwork specific drawing, etc., are inputted. Subsequently, the inputted plan view is displayed, and at every kind of the piping such as a water distribution pipe (diameter 100), a water distribution pipe (diameter 75), etc., two points of a start point and an end point of a work section are designated and inputted. That is, the input is executed with regard to the water distribution pipe (diameter 100) and the water distribution pipe (diameter 75), and in the end, the input is executed with regard to the water supply pipe. Next, at every kind of the piping, the quantity of the sediment is calculated by defiving the product of a cross section of the sediment and the work section from a sectional view of an embedding time corresponding to the kind of each piping based on the warthwork specific drawing. Thereafter, a table of the sediment quantity is prepared and displayed on a screen.
