PURPOSE: To provide an outer lid of the battery compartment of a high-altitude working vehicle, etc., by which an operation for drawing out a battery enclosed in a small battery compartment is facilitated. ;CONSTITUTION: A battery compartment 22 which encloses a battery 24 having at least one side facing the outside of a vehicle body is covered at its outer surface with an outer lid 32 which rotates about a fulcrum shaft 34 between an upright (also vertical) position and a lying (also horizontal) position, and the outer lid 32 for the battery compartment of a high-altitude working vehicle serves as a lid covering the outside of the battery compartment 22 when in the upright position, and serves as a mount for use in drawing out the battery when in the lying position. A rear lid 36 which, when the outer lid 32 is in the upright position, serves as a member to keep the battery 24 from moving outwards, and which when the outer lid 32 is in the lying position serves as a horizontal stand of almost the same height as the surface of the floor 26 of the battery compartment 22, is mounted on the inner surface of the outer lid 32.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
