PURPOSE: To obtain a method and a device with which single multi-section elements are separated into single sections at room temperature and simultaneously are finished. CONSTITUTION: The device is constituted to obtain the single finished sections in the room temperature state from the single multi-section elements 12 formed by rolling or the like. In the method in the case where the single section elements are integrated lengthwise at an edge and are connected together by a web 21, the single multi-section elements are separated into the single sections with a separator 20 equipped with upper and lower rotary blades after passing through from a drawing and guiding device 13 to a drawing device 36. The dimensions of the separated sections are adjusted with a re-gauging device 29 and are straightened with a straightening device 16.
